Thanks for the suggestions. The battery is fine, after performing the check.
The wiping is the first thing Verizon tech support had me do. Therefore, I guess it is a hardware issue. I guess I will have to wait for the replacement.
Appreciate the reply.

Just another question to see if this might be realted to any updates:
Did you wipe it and then plug it back into the PC? If so, did it load a new batch of SW?

I've been having to pull my battery 2-3 times a day because my phone locks up and freezes. I ran into this problem once before but an upgrade fixed the problem, now it's happening all over again and it's getting pretty frustrating.
A few other people i know have had freezing issues as well but most have been lucky enough to avoid pulling the battery as often as myself.
FYI...I am running a fairly old model BB so it's expected to be slower and lack the processing speed but i still feel it's completely unacceptable to have to resort to so many battery pulls in a given day.

The battery shouldn`t be pulled so often, that`s for sure! I have my Storm 9500 for the past 2 weeks and never had to do a battery pull, knock on wood. I still have my BB Pearl 8120 for over 2 years now and I only pulled the battery on that maybe 2 - 3 times since I have it, to clean up memory space.
