Ok so here's my dilemma.. I update both my wife and mine 9500 to the latest OS using desktop manager and she HATES it!!  I love it but she hates changes and she now hates the way her SMS text operates. She wants me to change the system back the way it was.. is it possible to download the older 4.7 OS? and how do I do it? Please help a badgered man

Dear friend:

 

You should open your Blackberry Desktop Manager, connect the Blackberry that you want to downgrade, at the main menu choose application loader, then upgrade software, and after it checks your cell, it will show you at the options of the cell software the chance to downgrade.  Just check it, and keep going until it finishes it.

Hi Rick.. I did that and now the device has error code 507 and the desktop manager is stalled out Waiting for device initialization.. what do I do now.. it's ok I unplugged device and all is well thnx
