I would like to have a hard copy of my passwords that are being kept in my password keeper program. Can this data be exported or is there a desktop application that will read this data?
Thx!

Hey Daddymac,
You can do a selective backup of the of your password keeper database:
http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB12487
The .IPD Backup file content can not be viewed on the PC and can only be viewed when restored back to the device.

You can easily open this using the simple steps that I followed as outlined below:
Change the extention of this file from .bbb to .zip
Uncompress and open the subsequently unzipped folder
Inside the folder, open the sub-folder named "Databases"
There will most probably be only one file named "Databases.ipd", right-click on it, and click on Open With, and choose Microsoft Excel
It will open as an excel file, it will not be in the perfect form to understand, but ALL the information of your blackberry from contacts to smses to bookmarks everything will be available in this single file. It is easy to go through once you look into the individual cells and use the Ctrl+F (or Command+F) function within Excel.
Password keeper entries are not easily accessible (or at least I have not been able to find mine in my .ipd file). If you are able to locate yours do let me know and I will look into mine as well, lol).
