Is Blackberry Messenger 5.0.0.33 not compatible

Is Blackberry Messenger 5.0.0.33 not compatible with  the new OS update??  cant get it to work at all    having to use the old version  of BBM ....

 

also  my blackberry storm 9539 keeps rebooting itself  every 5 -10 minutes 

 

any help or links to help would be awesome  thanks

No, the problem is with app world. If you download directly from the BB site it works fine. On your BB go to http://mobileapps.blackberry.com/devicesoftware/entry.do?code=bbm .

BBM problem is solved    but still problems with the phone rebooting itself  every 5-10 minutes      i get a white screen that says error  rebooting        the white screen doesnt stay up long enough to read more then that     any ideas?

Hmmm...constant reboots is odd, but by no means unheard of. If you are on VZW, try removing your SIM...it is not used anyway and removal has been known to improve random reboots. Otherwise, your device OS install may not have gone quite as smoothly as you'd want...you may want to reinstall:
