Listening to shoutcast on a Blackberry (Streaming Radio How to)

I have figured out a way to listen to Shoutcast streaming radio (the largest streaming radio group/index in the world, same as the "Radio" tab in Winamp/iTunes) on my Storm, using nothing more than what came with the phone. Thats right. No needed apps, no security settings to monger with, no crappy interfaces.

Read about it at my blog:

I hope you all enjoy this, as it answers many of the pleas i have seen around the web.

Unfortunately, i lost all my old posts in a database error.

I can write up a quick post in a day or two, and stick it online

Re: Listening to shoutcast on a Blackberry (Streaming Radio How to)

With the recent upgrade of the OS, I've since been unable to stream any shout cast urls.  Previously, the stream automatically began after I entered in the stream's url, without "index.html" or "listen.html" tacked on to the end.  Now, no matter what I do, I get an error with the page, and it won't stream.

Anyone else having the same issue?  Am I missing something?
