I have recently updated my BB storm but I started, from the beginning, to have a problem with the locking function. It works just for few seconds then the smartphone unlock itself and stays with the screen on until I put it into its pocket.

Any suggestion about the reason??

Hi there!

RIM has adjusted the method that the non-password protected locking method works. It seems that about half the people like the new way, and the other half want the old way back...I'm not sure RIM can have a "correct" decision on the matter. But, from what you describe, it may be working as presently designed (and there are no settings available to change it). If I recall, it will unlock by pressing anything at all...device password protection blocks that easy unlocking situation.

Thanks for you support! I perfectly understand what you mean but I guess the problem was the software. 

I have installed a new theme for the storm few hours ago  and suddenly It started to work again perfectly, although just with the new theme.

Then I reset the old theme and it restarted to work that one too. So I hope my problem is definitly solved.
