It have started synching with google. Calander appears ok but contacts are a disaster. Lost all of my contacts on BB and keep losing contacts on google.
Strange thing is even though the contact lists are all empty I think the info is still buried somewhere. When I go to the phone activity log and click on view contacts for anyone there I get the full contact info. Where is this stuff coming from and how can I restore it to the contact lists for the phone

Unfortuately I don't have a good BB backup. Only hardcopy and google contacts. I switched off the automatic synch between BB and Google contacts . The info has to be in the BB somewhere because when I go to call log on the phone I can see the entire profile for anyone who has called me or I have called. It seems like there is a hidden contact directory somewhere I just can't find it.
Thanks for your help,

When I go to filter from contacts I see business and personal. Whether I check both boxes individually or separately I still don't see anything. I just saved a new contact and can't find that either.
Thanks for your help.

Look at your Address Book > Options > Wireless synchronization, can you disable that?

Options > Status > Menu > Database Sizes, look at Address Book Database, does it look like the right number of contacts in you had?
