MAC OSX can't repair the Disk NO NAME -when I synch my BlackBerry

I have recently switched over from PC to Mac and when I plug my BB into the iMac to synch, I get the message above. the instructions are that I should backup my divide and reformat it. I don't want to reformat my BB. When I close the message, eventually after a few minutes, the BB proceeds with the synch. Not sure if I need to do anything to resolve the message or just continue. Help.
