MTP - on

sometimes when I sync my BB Storm to my dell laptop I get this message:

Some media feataures require mass storage mode for device which will interuupt any active media transfer protocol (MTP) connections.  Do you wnat to switch to mass storage mode?

What does this mean?  What will be the result of a yes or no answer?

Thanks.

Re: MTP - on

Here is some info:

Media Transfer Protocol

Mass storage mode:

I use mass storage mode to drag and drop files directly to the blackberry, but MTP is another option.  They basically do the same thing.  Hope those links help explain it.
