Memory Card Access

Help PLease?

I attempt to move videos, etc. to the vid folder via drag and drop, says I need 460 mb of free space.  I check my memory card through options, memory; I have 7.3 gb available.

I've also used the Blackberry Media Sync, same thing.

Odd thing is, the media card is not accessible from the storm (can't view files) or PC.

thanks,

frustrated.....again!

How do I move media to the card, everything goes to device memory?

Re: Memory Card Access

you need to set the storm to mass storage mode.

goto options>memory set mass storage to on, and enable mass storage to prompt

Re: Memory Card Access

ok, do you have storage set to the sd card?  sounds like you have it set to device.

in that same screen at the top, make sure media card support is set to on

Re: Memory Card Access

ok, it asks if I want to turn on mass storage mode, I choose yes.  i went to computer> BB > home > user > then video file says I have 508 mb of space available total for file. Its using app memory and system memory I guess, but no SD card.

SD card shoes up in properties but thats it

I still cant see anything that has 7.3 gb of space.

Re: Memory Card Access

well, I think you narrowed it down to the issue, my laptop is not picking up the memory card.  I gotta figure that one out now.  Once I get there, having access I should be able to drag and drop.

Really thanks for the time an effort.

Re: Memory Card Access

you could always remove the sd card and put it in the computer if you have the adapter.

also if you have bluetooth, thats a fast way to transfer small files, takes too long with large!
