Re: MeterBerry for the BlackBerry Storm

I read your post this morning and decided to unistall weatherbug for the day and see what happens.

Well I still have a massive memory leak somewhere.. the only apps I have on phone now is BB massage, Yahoo msg, the new MeterBerry, and of course the memo, task, calendar,  Nothing else No Google talk or AOL,,  I have only the 5 main apps running in app ribbon.

I don't keep a phone, email, text log  It's deleted after read or called. I have a few calendar events.. Zero in task, and two saved messages, I keep the system log cleared once or twice a day.....So after all of that I start out with around 46 or 47 MB at reboot..  And now it's in the 20's

The new MeterBerry app is shown 4 to 7 MB drop off's within 15 min, might get 2 or 3 back in the next 15 to 30 min....  the log for the day has shown it to do this through out the day...

I can only guess it's the OS I'm running (.109)

Ok so on the 2nd day with the MeterBerry....

I reinstalled Weather app..  I ran it on the same amount of time as I did yesterday with out it...On yesterdays log I  was peaking at up to 9 MB memory loss with in 15 minutes...  Today with WatherBug, My log showed nothing more then a 0.4 MB loss.?????????  So as it has been said that WeatherBug is a memory hog!!!!   that's not what MeterBerry has shown me.... Had a bigger memory leak with out it then I did with it.......  I can't explain why or how..... Just what I see in black and white...... And I have checked my BB memory with the MeterBerry, it shows pretty much the same memory reading as the app...

I would like to see some more test results on here just to get an idea as too what might be a battery or memory kill!!!!
