I have a Storm and i'm overseas. When i first got here i could send and receive SMS with no problem. About a week ago, i found i can no longer send SMS messages. I spent an hour on the phone with my provider (Bell Canada) and they were no help. Can anybody shed some light on this?
I'm presently in Saudi Arabia, the local network is Mobily Vodafone which is the provider that my provider is associated with. Still don't understand why it worked for a few weeks then stopped.
yes, have pulled the battery many times. i can make calls no problem. haven't tried the email. the only error i get so to spek is after the message fails to go, it has a red X with it and says network out of order
fantastic article, thanks. the only problem i have is that when i go to device options, i only have SMS text and there's no "network to send over" field. could this be a different issue now?
go into text messages (click menu button) click options, change "send text-only message as:" from "Always SMS" to "Always MMS". then try to text a contact, it has worked for me
