Thank you for the reply.
I did review this previously and an IT guy asked me to go into the Commmand Prompts area and instruct a factory reset. This just was not possible due to errors that would come up.
I am really at a loss as to what to do now. I may just buy an iPhone = which I do not want to do.
Any other ideas?
Thanks.

Oh...it's a pity you didn't first reveal that...I hate to waste your time with things you've already seen and tried. But my clairvoyance app has not been working well lately. ![]()

So, this is a company BB? If so, then your IT guy is 100% responsible for your support. You should continue to work with him.
However...

I find myself wondering just what those errors are that would come up. Sadly, I can't see what you see...

Until you reply with details, I too am at a loss...

Oh brother...if I had a dime for every time that threat was made in these forums...doesn't really serve any purpose IMHO. I think you will find an equal volume of folks who have problems with iPhones. These are technology devices, designed and built by humans, running software also designed and built by humans...if you are expecting perfection, you need to not be using technology at all.
Good luck!

Again, we lack details to help you. But, perhaps a little progress. Your BB was once on Enterprise, but is no longer. Which would hint that they have removed your BB from the BES server. But, as you I think have discovered, this does nothing about removing the IT Policy from the BB.
You must do that by resetting to factory...but with "I cant reboot my phone to factory settings" as your entire description, you still leave me to guess. What, exactly do you attempt? How, exactly does it respond? What, exactly are the error messages you see?
Perhaps this will help:
I suggest method 3 (for PC) or 4 (for MAC). If it does not work, please report back with exactly the steps in the KB you follow and exactly the results from each step. Please be clear, precise, and complete in your next post...otherwise, we risk continuing in this cycle of guesswork.
Good luck!

Hello again. Thanks for getting back to me.
I did try option 3 for PC and the command prompts did not work. I tried both options (mine if 64 bit) and both came back as invalid requests. That is where I ended my quest to solve things.
Any suggestions from here?
Thanks

Let me help you a little bit more here...
Biomed8 wrote:

That would say that you could not get a command prompt to appear on your PC at all. Is that what you attempted to communicate? Remember, I said clear, precise, and complete...
Biomed8 wrote:

I wonder what those "options" are? Please cite the exact section of the recommended KB...you might even want to copy/paste that section into your post so that I can know what you are doing. Remember, I can't see what you see...I need you to be very explicit so that I can know exactly what you are doing.

So, the exact and complete error message was "invalid requests"? Somehow I doubt that...and I still can't tell what you attempted that resulted in the error message
So, again, I plead for clarity, preciseness, and completeness in what you report here...guessing isn't helping anyone...
