No red asterisks anymore

I don't know what has changed, but suddenly I receive no red asterisks to notify me when a new message arrives. I get a tone (handy if I'm there) and an LED light. But when I open thinngs up, I have to go hunting through two emails and my SMS to see what just got updated. I used to get a red asterisk to show me where the new message was, but no more.

Help?

Hey THANKS for the answer. It's so embarrassing that I went through that menu scores of times and kept missing that ONE item. Sure enough...it's fixed. And I got the correct answer in 5 minutes from posting! Big Thanks! -DallasTerry

In your Messages list > Menu > Options > General Options > Display New Message Indicator.
