Re: Official Verizon BlackBerry Storm Device Software Upgrade

Anyone have tried either the beta release leaked today or one of the earlier ones:  Do these releases appear to fix the camera (slow, nonresponsive) and video camera (crashes frequently, requiring battery pull) problems with .75?  Just wondering whether to get my hopes up.

Thanks

Re: Official Verizon BlackBerry Storm Device Software Upgrade

I've heard good and bad things but if you are having problems than you might want to check it out.  I am planning on checking out the latest beta since I can't video my recorded videos and I haven't gotten any help here.

Re: Official Verizon BlackBerry Storm Device Software Upgrade

Thanks.  I use my storm for work (BES), so I can't screw around with Betas, but I'll keep up hope that the official release (whenever it comes) will resolve this.  Otherwise, I'll be bitterly disappointed in the Storm.

yep... on .109 at the moment. Camera is working pretty much as it should, video no longer crashes... overall very much improved over .75 but still has a couple of bugs that should be worked out with the next official release.

Re: Official Verizon BlackBerry Storm Device Software Upgrade

So, the custom sound profiles being glitchy is an issue with the OS not the unit in itself correct?

Based on the number of issues that pop up regularly with it, yup, looks like a software issue.

I am lead to believe that 29th March 2009 is the next official software update for the Storm

Hi

I don't know who to contact, I'm living in Belgium and BB Storm is still not on the market here. I just got a BB Storm in Germany from Vodafone, but I don't have the browzer option on my phone...My operator, BASE, tells me I cannot surf on the internet because this is a pre-installed product ny Vodafone and that I have to install a normal software on my phone, free of provider, and that only Blackberry/RIM itself could do this....

Can you help me, please?

Thanks !
