Old Outlook Appointments still being deleted

I know this has been addressed, but not solved. I have my "keep appointments: forever" and it seems to want to delete everything thats more than 2 months (or so) old.

Hitting re-sync seems to keep things, but it also keeps the things I changed purposefully, so I end up with conflicts or appointment errors.

Someone mentioned deleting the "intellisync" folder, but I'm scared to try this unless more people have confirmed that it works.

Please help. I cannot continue using this phone if it deletes my old appointments.

Thanks!

Re: Old Outlook Appointments still being deleted

Usually the device deletes older items to make room for newer ones when the device is running low on free space. If you check under Options | Memory, what is the Free space under Application Memory?

[ Edited ]

in DTM when you go to syncronize- syncronization- syncronization button and place checkmarks and configure your sync for cal, tasks, memo, and contacts... those settings that you set here is what gets stored in the intellisync folder.

when you delete the intellisync, these setting disappear and clear any possible bad settings.

once deleted all you ahve to do is come back here and reconfigure sync.

I recommend deleting the intellisync folder, then coming back to this section and configure calendar only, since its the problem child

test it out, if it works, go back and configure the rest
