When using Google Talk to IM with someone does it appear on your bill like normal texts do?

My Verizon bill shows what time each text was sent and to/from whom they were sent.

Since the Google Talk program is internet based I can't imagine it would show on a monthly statement like phone to phone texts would but would like to be sure before I use it.

Hello! Using Google Talk uses data which is different than a text message which is actually sent using the same gateway as a phone call. 

You won't see specific information about data usage on your bill. Depending on your current data plan, it will show how much data you used for that biling period.
