I have my Blackberry Storm to sync appointments 120 days old and 365 days in the future. The problem is that is deletes any appointments over 120 old on my computer Outlook program. So, if I go back in my Outlook calendar on my computer to check some old appointment more than 120 days ago, it is gone. How can I keep it from deleting them on my computer? Thanks...

Having a similar problem.  When doing a USB synch with my Storm old appointments are deleted from Outlook & the Storm even though the settings on the Storm are to keep appointments forever.  Old appointments that are recurring in the future are not deleted.  I run Outlook 2003 on a PC with Vista Ultimate.  I use Desktop Manager v4.7.  I have reset my sync options and set it to sync 2 ways between the BB & PC.  Very frustrating.  I would like to keep these appointments at least on Outlook if not the BB.  I need the 2 way sync as I enter appointments into both systems.

btw.  Storm firmare .75 being utilized.  Settings out DM sync manager set to sync all scheduled items.

I have a similar problem.  In Calendar I have set appointments to be kept forever.  However when I go into a new calendar month all previous appointments disappear (except recurring appointments). Don't understand why.

Exact same issue.  Verizon Tech Support was unable to provide an adequate fix for me.  I found a workaroud that I have used for the last few weeks that has served me well.  This entailed registering for a google account (I already had one).  You then would set up a 2 way sync relationship with your outlook & google calander, then do the same with your BB.  Make sure you clear all your BB calander events or you'll show duplicates on the BB after doing this.  Has

worked like a charm, not to mention is give a wireless sync capability otherwise not available to BIS users.  I update this as i continue to use this fix to make sure it continues in it's functionality.  The following thread outlines the same issue with what verizon recommended I do:

you will note that my issue doesn't involve the sync process.  the root problem is that appointments are somehow automatically deleted from the Storm (even though options set to keep appts forever).  Only then if I run a 2-way sync are the appointments deleted from Outlook too.  I think it might be a memory issue.  Under Options - Memory the 'Application memory - Free Space' was almost zero so I uninstalled a couple of applications and it is now up to 22mb.  Total Device memory has always been just under 900mb.  I will let you know if the problem re-occurs.

Homescreen > Options > About

The third line of text will tell you the version. For VZW, it will say:

V4.7.0.75 (Platform 4.0.0.94)

Which indicates being on the .75 OS, which is the most recent OS for VZW.

Hi sdgardne, I see your a specialist...any comments on the problem of the storm deleting old calendar entries even with the option set to keep forever?  Thanks.
