Received messages do not sync but sent messages do

I am remote so our IT department will take awhile to get back to me so I thought I would try this post.

New Blackberry storm a few days ago.  Worked fine and then it quit synching new messages.  A sent message will show up.  Thoughts?

Always, first thing to do when you have a glitch or mail send/receive issue on a BlackBerry:

 

With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.
