Speakerphone Issue

Hi.....I  have an issue with my speakerphone on my Bold.  During a call, when I press the speakerphone button (phone/$ sign), rather than going to speaker, it mutes my call.

 

How do I overcome this?

I would suggest creating a full backup of your data and follow the steps in this KB article: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320 or www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB19915

 

Then test the speakerphone prior to restoring any data.
