My storm screen occasionally won't rotate to vertical when I first pick it up.  It will rotate correctly if I rotate back to horizontal and then vertical again.  Nothing fancy, just picking it up to view home screen after being idle.  I'm running OS .75.  Storm has been reset and OS reloaded.  I can't reproduce the problem.  It seems random. Really annoying.  Anyone else having this problem?

Sometimes mine will do that when I pull it out of the holster.

I hope that this is something that will be fixed when they rebuild the OS.

Sadly...agreed, under .75 this would be considered normal behavior...reports from beta-land are that it is much improved in the leaked versions and we all hotly anticipate a formal release (we just don't know when).

I have had the same issues and am also on .75 (I know... but I'm too chicken to DL a new one after I've spent so much money on this phone).  I find that if I pick it up and hold it in landscap, and the phone seems to be stuck in portrait, I can rotate it back to portrait for a second, and then go ahead and rotate it back to landscape, and it usually does the trick (or vice versa, obviously).  It's annoying, but it seems to work for me.  I agree, though, that hopefully they'll get this fixed, but it's not gonna make me throw this thing in the lake.  I still love my Storm

I found unofficial OS .85 beta and loaded it.  Screen still won't rotate some times but my random restarts seem to have been fixed.

I HAVE THE .109 OS AND IT DOES THE SAME THERE
