Hello,

The "Press" function is by design and is the only way to type and launch application.

Sure, use an iPhone.  It is a feature/selling-point of the Storm, not user customizable.

There must be some way of doing a certain amount of the touch screen stuff on the Storm.  The amAze GPS app does it.  (Not to argue any of the statements made above, of course - just food for thought)

I'm not familiar with the amAze GPS app, but all other apps and functionality require an actual "click" to initiate a command.  You can touch the screen and it will "do stuff", but it won't activate or perform any command until it's pressed.

Would be a great app for someone to create, besides being a little slow the typing is my only real complaint with the Storm.
