JSanders, I am in a similar situation except I am using the storm on AT&T. I added the service books and went through all the steps. Today I am going to add the Blackberry Data Plan after calling AT&T. I will also switch it from 3g and 2g to just 2g. Will this fix things? because currently the only online feature that works is media net. Thanks for your help!

After unlocking BB Storm, you always have to set Network Technology to GSM/UMTS instead of Global in the Mobile Network settings.
