OK,
Been a BB user via Vodafone UK for 3+ years, I am a remote worker for a US company who have their own Enterprise server, but it makes no financial sense to have a US based phone used primarily in EU
Voadfone have always been happy taking my 500+GBP per month for lots of talk time on a Business account (including masses od roaming & BB usage).
I had my free upgrade to Storm last week, had my profile reset on the BES in the US & activated the Enterprise option on the Storm & waited whilst the phone activated, nothing happeend, tried several times, still nothing. I spoke to Vodafone & they said, "No Problem - we can fix it" they then asked me for the PIN number & IMEI so they could change the settings at their end. Tried again, nothing, spoke to them again to be told that although there appears to be the option on the handset to register via Enterprise, it is not possible on the Vodafone based STORM to do this, it is a totally different handset that they do not have stocks of, nor is it possible to change it.
Now, this sounds like either someone has thier wires crossed or do not understand or are just being inflexible. Either way, they have said that I cannot have the STORM on Enterprise from them.
I had a similar issue with my Pearl originally but a software change at their end fixed that (I did a global reset on the handset & registered as an Enterprise phone)
Any help here would be much appreciated !

OK, Sounds good, nothing to lose here, whats the procedure, I am assuming I need the appropriate Soft/firmware ?
