Well the other day i was texting on my 9530 and the screen started to stick, it stayed in for a moment and thn popped out. After a few times of this happening the screen stuck permantly. I went to take out my battery to see if that'll do anything, all of a sudden i hear a crack. The screen cracked and is always "clicked in" make the phone unusable. Will RIM replace my phone? Also I'm on AT&T so i do not have any type of insurance. Thanks in advance![]()

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
First -- what device do you have a problem with? Your provile says 8310 yet you posted in the Storm forum referencing a 9530.
Second, no one here can answer your question, regardless of which device you have. No one here can speak officially for RIM. Further, RIM provides zero front line service or support, not even warranty support. All service and support, including warranty issues, are handled by the carriers and authorized resellers. So, it is they that you need to be making your case to.
Good luck!

Cheers! Oh...and FWIW...I am not a RIM employee...and these forums are user-to-user...not user-to-RIM.

When my 9530 broke, I had an 8310 as a back-up and it is what I am currently using which is why it is on my account. Thank you for your reply.
I guess I will just have to replace the screen myself.![]()

Hello again,
Thank you for clearing up the device model question.
However, I am curious...why don't you inquire of your formal support channel regarding your issue with the Storm?
Cheers!
