The OS officially released by a carrier for the 9530 model is 4.7.0.122, from Bell Mobility of Canada. It will work fine on a Verizon device.
Follow the directions in this link:
The only caveat is that Verizon is not supprting OS .122 yet. If you need warranty support from Verizon, they may not even talk to you as long as you have .122 on the device. You will need to downgrade back to .75 at that time.

Agree on that one. I just went from .75 to .113 yesterday morning and to .122 last night. It does work. I dont see much difference between .113 vs .122 thought. I can't seems to find the list of improvement between them either. I did see .113 bug fix list.
In either case, either one .113 or .122 is a huge improvement over .75 in terms of stablity.
