Whatsup upgrade leads to BIS issues

I recently upgraded the Whatsup application.

On completion of installation, I observed that it causes my BB status to change from 3G-BB to 3G only. That means that I dont receive mails, cant access FB or twitter. I disabled all the app permissions (Internet, User data etc) and upon reboot 3G-BB is back.

To be sure I restored Whatsapp and immediately the service degraded.

 

So can anyone guide how I can fallback to old version? or resolve the issue.

 

My BB - Storm2 - 9550 v5.0.713 (platform 4.2.0.323)

We are unable to comment on 3rd party applications. 

 

As something to try, delete WhatsApp from your Options>Applications, reboot then reinstall it. If the same issue happens after reinstalling it, contact WhatsApp support at blackberry-support@whatsapp.com to investigate further.
