Who has the best Flashlight app?

[ Edited ]

Looking for a good flashlight app that uses the camera light and lets me place an icon on the screen to access or turn on the flashlight. Not interested in the ones that transform one of the side buttons into an on off switch but would rather have a screen icon to activate. Any suggestions?

Why not just use the Video Camera?

a) it uses the camera light

b) it has an icon on the screen

I agree.  Just leave the light turned on in the settings and then all you have to do to turn it on is to start the video camera.

Just for giggles..... Why do you need a $500.00 flashlight that will pull your battery and memory down pronto ?

I dont know about this but , if you start the video app to get the flashlight , wont that pull the power AND film you doing it ?

Plus you will most likley need to erase the video to get the memory back.

Just a think but wouldn't a $0.99 keychain flashligkt work as well and not be such a hassle ?????

You don't have to actually *record* any video.  Just turn on the Video Camera and set the light to be "on".  Plus, if you're like me - you most always have your phone with you, but you may not have your keys (and keychain flashlight) with you.  And the keychain flashlight has a battery that you'd have to replace when it goes bad, the phone would get re-charged at regular intervals.
