I have my system set for wireless sync.  It iw working great for emails, but not updating contact in my address folder.  Any hints on how to remedy this?  Thanks.

Re: Wireless Sync Trouble

Welcome to the forums.  Are you connected to a company BlackBerry server (BES)?

Re: Wireless Sync Trouble

A few more questions:

1. Is this happening with all users, or just your device?

1. Are you the BES Admin?  If so, what version BES are you using and what mail environment?

Re: Wireless Sync Trouble

It appears to be just me

I am not the BES admin, but the BES admin tells me that there are no error messages.

I did some additional troubleshooting, and it also appears that a new address card will sync, but an existing address card will not update

Re: Wireless Sync Trouble

Your address book service book could be corrupted.  You could try this:

1. Click on Options icon - > Adv. Options -> Service Book

2. Highlight Desktop[SYNC] service book, press Menu/trackwheel and click Delete (confirm delete)

3. While still in Service book screen, press Menu/trackwheel and click Undelete (will bring the Desktop[SYNC] SB back into the list

4. Wait 15-20 mins and see if the Address Book is sync'd up.

Wireless Sync Trouble on Torch 9800

HI

I have problems sync contacts with my new Torch 9800. In my case, new or edited contacts in my desktop do not sync wirelessly with my device. I have 5 emails accounts in Outlooks. Upon getting installed the BB Desktop Software it did the first wireless sync flawlessly. Now I can not sync  my contacts. I have been trying to undo the wireless sync but I have been unsuccessful. Need some hints.
