You need any blackberry data plan, you can't surf the web with the same internet plan you have in the G1?, call Tmobile again and explain that you are changing the G1 for A blackberry device.

but with that tcp/ip can you do the blackberry messanger?because mine it's starting to work. but blackberry storm it's so slow!it's always hang or error or something..

The blackberry messenger doesn't work if you not have any data plan, all the blackberry applications that requires Internet to work, need Blackberry Data Plan.
