Hello arlettevillarosa,

I would recommend contacting your carrier to see what options are available to you.

Thank you

Hello - I recently cracked my display and replaced it.  You can find OEM replacement screens for sale over the internet.  As long as you have an appropriate pry tool and a jewelrs size screwdriver, you can do it yourself.  Their are youtube videos out there that show you how to do it.

Re: blackberry storm lcd not working

thank you for your suggestion but our provider SMART TELECOMS are quite inadept about these things.

When my O.S was hanging on me, they were saying that the upgrade can only be procured in Singapore and that I had to wait 45 days to for my unit if i take that course of action. But because i was desperate, i searched the net and lo and behold I found a free updgrade!

I will try to take this avenue, but i'm more leaning towards finding a service center that can do this for me. :smileyhappy:

Re: blackberry storm lcd not working

Good luck!  In my situation, there are plenty of phone repair shops that will do it, however, since this is a business phone, my Company's IT department does not allow having the phone serviced in such a manner, due to security concerns.  Regardless, rather than the expense and hassle of ordering a completely new phone, I decided to change the display out myself.  I wouldn't have tried it except for the fact that there was plenty of instructional material on the internet to use as a guide.  For less thatn $50 US dollars, and a bit of time, it solved my problem.
