help needed for my Blackberry storm 2

Hi, all I am in need of help...I am new to Blackberry and for christmas had a Blackberry Storm 2, SIMFREE.

All working fine expect I cannot send or receive personal emails or MMS. I have contact my network provider and spend over 1hr on the phone and nothing has help.

When I access the internet - Blackberry internet service, it says ' Existing users' and asks for a user name and password but it won't regconsied it, its says my device is not registered, when my network provider say it is, and so I am stuck.

Also I cannot send MMS or receive them neither.

Re: help needed for my Blackberry storm 2

Remember you pay your carrier every month for them to provide you with a quality service. Smiley Happy

contact them again, and ask them to provision your account correctly.
Once that is done, go here and create a new BIS account.

Re: help needed for my Blackberry storm 2

Thanks for this link but unfortunately it won't let me register as it says my 'device is not register' and so I'm in limbo. Tesco mobile say it is registered there end but blackberry say it is not.

Re: help needed for my Blackberry storm 2

I have contact Tesco mobile again and they are saying that it looks like my blackberry is simfree but from America ?? Now I don't now where it's from apart from it was an Xmas present, it was brand new boxed. Why should this make any difference? Everything else works fine even the browser.

Re: help needed for my Blackberry storm 2

Tesco told you that, so what? what does simfree mean ? And the country where the device is issued should not matter for getting data.

call them again, they are the ones who should link your Tesco account to your phone, or tell you how to do that.

can you go to that link, using your BlackBerry browser?

Re: help needed for my Blackberry storm 2

check with tesco what your subscription allows you to do.
indeed, some contracts include voice+sms+browser,
and some other contrats include voice+sms+browser+mms
and some others include voice+sms+browser+mms+emails
and some others include voice+sms+browser+mms+emails+AppWorld.
