Not a question, just a comment...
2 years ago I got a sprint USB wireless modem.
I did this since one area that I often go did not have very good coverage by verizon (at the time).
The coverage is better now with Verizon and my 2 year contract with sprint is up.
So I canceled my sprint plan and called verizon to add tethering to my blackberry.
I used it all week long as I went on vacation to Idaho.
The difference between the older USB and the blackberry 3G was amazing.
Really I could not believe how much faster it was.
Here is a break down.
With my sprint card I was paying $59 a month, whether I used it or not.
With tethering my bb to my laptop I pay $30 a month for 5GB which seemed to be plenty, and I can turn it on and off whenever I want just by calling verizon.
Speed is much, much better.
And I was charging my BB while I surfed.
I also received a call during the tethering and I simply unplugged it, answered the call like usual.
Then when I was done plugged it back in and told the software to establish a connection again.
I just thought some people may find this useful.
