Have you done a "backup" on the Desktop Manager? If so, it may be time to grab JL_Cmdr and completely wipe the BB then reinstall the whole system. There are some good instructions for this on "Crackberry.com"
This isn't something to be done by the uninitiated, but it'll probably work.
However, it may be just as easy and quicker to get the Storm replaced.
