I Dropped My BB In The Toilet.

I dropped my bb in the toilet, i grabbed it really quick and took the battery out. I put it in rice and tried to suck the water out with a vacuum. it worked for 2 days then i was charging it and it turned off. Now it wont do anything. I connect it to the computer and the led light turns on for like a minute then it turns back on. I need advice on what to do. I just got this phone a month ago /: Help?

Re: I Dropped My BB In The Toilet.

you made sure to take out the battery and leave the batteryholder back-thing in the dry rice as well, correct? bury it fully in the rice for 3 days. if that does not work, see you can get your hands on another battery compatible with your phone, put it in, see if its the battery that's messed up. however, having only gotten the phone a month ago, see if you have any warranty. don't tell them you dropped it in the toilet, just say you woke up one morning and the phone was acting odd and now does not work. best of luck! :c

I got mine wet , took the battery out tried rice no good, went back to telus they said the red spot inside battery area shows water damage no longer under warranty tried new battery, nothing, took it to a repair guy he said the logic board was toast and nothing could be done. toss it and get new phone.  only had it 2 months and have a three year contract.  not happy don't want to put out loads of money for another blackberry.  Anyone fix a logic board on one before?
