Suddenly this afternoon my phone quit working. They can't hear me, but I can hear them. Removing and restarting didn't help. It's not on mute. I tried the options - call management - incall settings to no avail. Please help! This is the only flip phone..........

Try using the voice recorder, record a test message and try to play it back.
If you can't hear anything then the device is faulty and you will have to get it repaired
Something else to try though:
Option, Status, type test. This will take you to different tests to troubleshoot. I think if you can record anything then you have a hardware issue and the phone needs to be replaced or repaired.

When I hit OPTIONS wrench key, there is no STATUS. Where is that?

There is OPTIONS, DEVICE AND STATUS info, but no place to type TEST

OS6? home screen, type status, go to options and click on Device and Status information

When you type it, nothing will show on the screen, after typing it it will take you directly to the diags screen

Try going to options, Device, and click on Device and Status Information, on that screen with signal, pin, etc listed, type test

OK I made it to the tests!
Handset speaker test is very, very quiet.
Handsfree speaker test is very loud
PIN-PIN failed
No active radio APN found
otherwise it tests OK

Excellent. Sorry about the confusion earlier! I'm new here myself. I'd take it to the store to be on the safe side
