I am a total newbie with this BB STYLE. I have placed Safe Mode atop my screen and I do not know if this is a good thing.

hey,

welcome to the forums. the below link explains how to get into safe mode and get out and what it does. safe mode simply means your phone boots up with no applications running in the background as it normally does. you can exit safe mode by doing a batterly pull and waiting a few seconds and boot your phone back up. no worries!

and a year or so later... Thanks JRab! I am still pulling the battery when it freezes up in this mode. Me thinks that maybe it has something to do with Geotagging?? Perhaps BlackBerry should have "focused" more on being a mobile phone than a camera? Do you know of when Kodak will release their new smart "Brownie Box" and perhaps it won't be in need of Safe Mode? I sure do hope that it too has "Style"
