At the moment you cannot develop themes for OS7 using theme builder 6. The only way would be to follow complicated methods to 'hack' or trick your way into building themes for OS7. But bear in mind that the method is not simple.

Hey,
There actually is a workaround to this.
You CAN use Theme Studio 6.0 to develop themes for the Blackberry Bold 9900 and other OS 7 Devices, though as suggested in the article you need to follow the instructions very carefully.
This should help you:

Hey,
I guess that in http://devblog.blackberry.com/2012/02/blackberry-7
3. We also need to create some files to let BlackBerry Theme Builder know which theme types are supported for our new device. To do this, copy an existing device’s .properties file:
Example:
<ThemeStudio>\resources\theme\BlackBerry6_480x360\
Hope that helps! ![]()

Hey,
Was the background wallpaper the problem? Because you did mention that there was a big white section "above" the background. Did you try reloading the theme on your simulator/Blackberry 9900 or changing the wallpaper?
Let me know what happens. ![]()
