No simulators found to refresh or use in 5.0 or 6.0 theme studio

Ok I’ve installed theme studio 5.0 and 6.0 and there are no simulators found when I go to load them or under preferences / simulators. There are none listed and the refresh button is not available. I downloaded the Curve 8900 ATT simulator and installed it but neither one of the studios will see them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
