BlackBerry Themes & Animated Graphics

Hi there , 

                            I am a newbie to this theme development and have some problem as i m not able to see my exported theme to my blackberry handheld.

What i m using;

1. blackberry theme studio ver 6.0 beta 2.

2. developing for curve 3g and have curve 3g o.s ver 5.0.0.977

3. testing on the same .

4. after successful development and transferring the theme by using Export a pop-up will be there and after filling that 

it is showing this"xxxxx" has been added to your device. please select activate on your blackberry when prompted )

after this one more saying "successfully exported with 1 error"

and after pressing details i get the details about the error  and after that there is a processing icon on device but nothing happens so if the export is successful then where is the theme ???

i m not been able to find that ......

how did you started your project ? is there any details about the 1 ERROR??

as u have asked details for the same: 

Warnings: 

 Body Font: The List highlight font color can not be applied to non BlackBerry fonts.

Every time i try to export or preview the theme i got the same

Ok .. Reset the list highlight font colot to default
Sure u can get out of that error. After that preview your theme on simulator(don't install directly into ur device). Post ur result

Hi there,

                              some facts i wanna explore:

1. My theme studio ver 6 is not been able to detect installed simulators that i have installed on in the same folder where theme studio, desktop s/w is installed:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Research In Motion

2. In theme studio when i browse through this path(File->Manage themes on blackberry->) then i got surprissed  coz this option is showing me the list of themes that r installed on my device and all of my exported themes were there.

but when i cross checked manully on device side nothing was there.

3. and as for as that error msg is concerened can u plz tell me where to find that setting as i m not being able to find that setting.

I had also recreated your current condition with List Highlight font color, But i dont get any error!!
Im Using Theme studio V5.
Im assuming that You have selected correct theme profile for your BB... Now what to DO??
1) Remove all the developed themes from your BB and make a hard reset
2) correct the List Highlight error -it can be Seen HERE--> ON Inspector Window -> click "OK CANCEL" Icon -> there you can see 'List' TAB, Reset to default.
3) Stop uploading directly to BB Until you simulate correctly, You cannot simulate Unless you add the simulators to the Theme studio-
EDIT->PREFERENCE->SIMULATORS . Click the refresh button.. Sure you will See the installed simulators.
4)change your Theme's info ->EDIT->PREFERENCE->THEME INFO
5)Still , If you are not able to simulate , Try exporting the project as-> Publish for desktop manager . and install it VIA Desktop manager.
