Resizing the Today Items

I am wondering if it is possible to change the witdh for the Today Item Applications.

I am using Blackberry Theme Studio 5.0, custom theme for bold 9700 series. 
I would like to know if anyone has fiigured out a way to resize the width of the today items. I do not want the width taking up the whole screen and i tried resizing the caret, also tried just placing it off the side but both of these options do not work. Does anyone have any answers??

Check out this YouTube Video I didn't create it but he person that did apparently know what there doing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7sBwictmJI This should solve your problem it looks as though you can set the dimesions of the field to what ever you like.
