Whenever i export my theme built on BlackBerry 6 template, icons in media tab get disappeared. wherelse other tabs all,favorite,downloads work perfectly. Anyone resolved this issue?

What device model and software version (Options > Device > About Device Versions) can you reproduce this using? Does this happen on the simulator or just the device?

Currently on 9700/6.0.0.448 but it was on all 9700 OS6 and all 9800 OS6 versions.

Some themes dont support the media-tab in the OS6 UI. That seems to be a generaly problem beside the bugs you have to accept, when a theme is created with the current beta-version of the Theme Builder... Here now a nearly reliable solution:

Make sure, that your software is latest (6.0.033X).

Open your appscreen and open also the menu. Take care that NO icon/trigger is hidden; make them all visible.
Look for a folder which named exactly (!!!) 

net_rim_bb_file_explorer.Media

If you dont find this file create this folder with exactly (!!!) this name (the "M" in Media must be capital!!!)

Then shift all the media-icons (Ringtone, music etc.) into this folder.

Now hide this folder (and all the other folder/icons you dont want to see) again and make a reboot (battery pull)

After this happens you should find the media icons under the media-tab/header! :-)

If you want to held the official Media-Folder on your appscreen and you are unlucky to have it (now) empty, you could shift the three supplementary icons (which appears when you unhide all icons/folder) for music, video and pics into it... :-) Otherwise you can hide also the media-folder...

@gbeukeboom - PLEASE tell me you guys are on to fixing theme builder beta 2... its a mess.

You cannot change the date icon anymore (it always shows as default) - we have discovered that the calendar & cal focus .svg files are no longer being created. This is a huge issue for themers!

I tested this on an 9700 running the newest software and was unable to reproduce. This appears to be a device software issue that will get addressed in newer software and not a Theme Builder bug.

We are looking into each and every problem reported regarding Theme Studio 6 Beta 2. If you find any problems then the best thing to do would be to log them in Issue Tracker (linked in my signature) where they will be picked up and logged internally.

worked! thanks StaticFX. is there anyway i can tweak this bug within theme builder before compiling? doing it manually is tough for some users

I dont think so.. You could try adding a folder in composer... but I dont think it will have the same effect.

hi StaticFx, im a newbie for BB, just got my Torch 2 days ago.. my problem is just same as the topic, all the file under Media-Tab is disappeared after i installed a theme, but the files are still there under All-Tab - Media folder..

i've opened my appscreen n menu, there is no Show All, and

i dont understand what is - net_rim_bb_file_explorer.Media ??

do you mind of teaching me step by step for the solution?

Had the same problem. Needed to wipe my device to get rid of it. Do I understand correctly that when I create a theme in an older final version this problem won't occur?

We have the same problem with the 9800 OS 6.0 that icons are blank. Users complain about it and we have to send them for getting refunds by BlackBerry at the moment as we do not have a solution for this.
