3rd Party Apps

Hey all.  Can anyone give me the details or tell me where to find info about installing 3rd Party Apps.  I can do it and have done it before but I am very cautious about the "Trusted Apps".  Why does a flashlight (and most other apps) need access to "User Data".  What happens if I give Google Maps if I allow access?  If I deny?  What do each of the 3 sections (Connections/Interactions/User Data) actually mean.  If I give acess to my email, can Poynt read my email or view my contacts in my phone?  Thanks in advance.

Re: 3rd Party Apps

I've not heard of anyone having security concerns with any third-party apps downloaded from BlackBerry AppWorld.  Your concerns are certainly warranted but you'll be safe at AppWorld.
