64GM micro SD and Torch 9810

Prices for the 64GB have come down fast, has anyone tried it in the torch yet? I know the bb chart says it supports up to 32GB but when that was produced 32GB was the biggest you could get.

Only 32GB is supported for now, 64GB will not work.

Re: 64GM micro SD and Torch 9810

Per the SDHC standard, the format is FAT32. SDXC (64 GB and larger) the spec calls for exFAT. Microsoft has limited Windows to only format larger cards as exFAT and will not allow FAT32. Thus far, very few devices can read exFAT because of licensing of the exFAT file system that Microsoft owns.

You might be able to format it in FAT32 but I dont think a BlackBerry phone can read above 32 gig.

Doesn't matter what all you do, the current devices cannot read larger than 32GB cards.

Been tried.
