90 degrees rotation on videos (BB9810)

BB9810, latest OS version 7.1 pack921.

32gig multimedia card

I used my phone to film my daughter... (cute, she's 5 !!!).  I used it on a landscape format instead of portrait.  When i import it from the phone on my iMac (copy/paste in finder), of course it is rotated by 90 degrees.  Is there a way to configure the phone so when i record in landscape it shows in landscape on the computer ?  Or do any of you have a suggestion for a software that will rotate the video ?

Re: 90 degrees rotation on videos (BB9810)

I use a 9810 with a 32GB card and take videos all the time. When I view them on the computer (PC) they are rotated in the same mode that I recorded them on. I've never had video that was turned 90 degrees. That said, and not sure if it matters but, I always video with the buttons and trackpad on the right.

Re: 90 degrees rotation on videos (BB9810)

Here's more info as I made a new test.  I did a multimedia import from my BB9810 with BB desktop 2.3.0 build 12 (it imports all the pictures and videos in iPhoto) and most videos filmed in landscape show in landscape.  BUT, some are in portrait even if they were filmed in landscape.  MAC OS 10.5.8. iPhoto 08 ver 7.1.5 (378).  I'm confused, to say the least !!!
