9800 fatory reset - what will happen

hiya,

i have  a 9800 my friend gave me and find its security status ties it to a corporate company who disabled the wifi with their it policy

i understand if i make a factory reset it will clear it and wifi will work

do i need any pin numbers or similar when factory reset is done, or will it just turn back on and work without being asked for any pins or similar passwords ?

Please use plain text.

BlackBerry smartphone must be security wiped before transferring ownership

Upon the initial reboot, you will have a 'fresh' device, ready for your own personal information. You will be required to enter your BlackBerryID and your email accounts. So, you will need to create and login your BlackBerryID.

Re: 9800 fatory reset - what will happen

The IT policy might not be removed by a wipe alone. Once done it will be like  a new phone out of the box for you to set up with BBID

NOTE: This will erase all data on your device so back it up!
