i have a blackberry torch in my possession and would like to unlock it so
that i can use any network. i live in Russia but i will be traveling to
the USA that will render my phone unusable and i cannot have that happen to
me. my main quarry is that can i send you the money to unlock my phone
cause it urgent?

Hi khobi

If a device is reported lost or stolen then that device get  Blocked by there Carrier and its also known as Hardlocked or if we enter 10 wrong MEP Unlock codes in this case, your phone cannot be unlocked and is permanently locked to its Network Carrier also known as Hardlocked.

So If it is Hardlocked you have to contact the original Carrier who can forward it to RIM to get it Unlocked,But that is real expensive.
