I have about 85contacts added for the last 2months (last time I updated my phone) on my 9810 that didn't sync with gmail contacts since then.
I tested what was working/not working:
- Contact added/edited/deleted on 9810 won't sync to gmail.
- Contact added/edited/deleted on PB will sync to gmail. Changes made on gmail contacts will be reflected on 9810.
- Contact added/edited/deleted on Android phone will sync to gmail. Changes made on gmail contacts will be reflected on 9810.
So I tried to flush my contacts using the RSET trick in the contacts option. Disable/Enable sync both in contact option and BIS. I also tried to remove this gmail account from BIS and re-install it. When I re-installed it, I got this e-mail:
Subject: Action Required: Contact synchronization has stopped Sent: Nov 4, 2012 13:32 Contacts have stopped being synchronized between ...@gmail.com and your BlackBerry® device. To resume synchronizing contacts with this email account: 1. Open the Contacts application on your device. 2. Press the Menu key and click Options. 3. Select the Contact List for ...@gmail.com. 4. Set Wireless Synchronization to Yes 5. Press the Menu key and click Save. BlackBerry Internet Service -- Automatically generated email: Do Not Reply to this email --
Of course, the wireless sync was already on...
Any idea on a solution that can help ? Unless someone can help, downgrade will be required! :/

No-one has been able to offer a solution.
Frustrating. When you're out and about, it's your phone where you're going to be adding contacts.
The good thing is that the PB syncs perfectly which suggests BB10 will sync well (I believe - I'm not a techie). Maybe it's just a 7.1 issue.
Were your contacts syncing to before at some point? I think mine were but I can't really remember.

Here is my solution:
So I updated to V220.127.116.116 and it is working back! The only problem found is that if you enter only a company name, it won't sync until you write something in first name (in the need repeat the company name).
I don't see this version as an official release for the 9810 on Rogers. Does it matter? And from where can I download it? Thx

go to the forum then select your device threads list and it is sticky on top...
