Auto reply and Auto Signature set up

I have a Torch 9800 version 6.0

  1. Does anyone know how to change the auto signature.  The help on my device does not work.
  2. Does anyone know how to turn on/off and change the auto reply on the blackberry

I have asked everyone I know including our IT department.  No one has been able to help me.

To edit BlackBerry signature:

 

1. From the Home screen on the BlackBerry smart phone, click Messages.

2. Display the menu and select Options.

3. Click Email Settings.

4. Set the Use Auto Signature field to Yes and fill in what you want

 

there is no auto reply that I am aware of

You can access the settings from the email setup application on your phone

or

you can manage the settings from https://www.att.blackberry.com/

You can also give them a call if you can't get logged in on the website from a computer.

 

Wait a sec... is this for corporate or personal email?  If this is for corporate email, the steps above won't help.

if it were that easy I would not have asked the question.

 

I do not get Email settings....I get email preferences  and then I do not get any options

and by auto reply I meant ... Out of Office reply

Are you on a BES server?

 

possible your BESAdmin has locked those down.

 

Out Of Office can be done on device

 

Options, Message Options, Email Preferencs, check off use Out Of Office and put in your reply.

Hit esc key and choose save.
