I have the app for maps as was provided when I bought the phone but I cant get it to work anyone got any ideas why?

I don't know if I have it on my plan I just have a phone with things on it how would I find out and if not on then activate it?

So, when you open BlackBerry Maps, what happens? any error or what?

It just shows a blank screen and no map ever comes up

I wish I were it might work then but actually just down teh road from vodafone HQ in wiltshire. Maybe its the download speed but it cant take more than 2 mins to download as illy map even if its not super fast BB

oh no, there are no BBMaps in India, so don't wish that.
Is Wiltshire in the UK?
So you do sometimes get the maps downloaded, not just a white screen forever?
What's the signal indicator on the BlackBerry, home screen upper right? EDGE, 3G, GSM, or what?
